Just William(2010)

Just William is a BBC One television serial that aired in December 2010, adapting Richmal Crompton's beloved children's book series. Daniel Roche plays the mischievous title character, a resourceful boy navigating school, family, and neighbourhood adventures with his gang of friends. Rebecca Front and Daniel Ryan portray William's parents, while Caroline Quentin and Warren Clarke play the parents of his neighbour Violet Elizabeth Bott. Written by Simon Nye and directed by Paul Seed, the serial marks the first major adaptation of Crompton's stories since a 1990s children's series. Martin Jarvis, known for narrating the radio and audio versions, provides voiceover for the production. The serial concluded after its initial run.
