Eyes Down(2003)

Eyes Down is a British comedy series centred on Ray Temple, the manager of a struggling bingo hall called The Rio in Liverpool. Paul O'Grady stars as the quick-witted Ray, navigating the daily chaos of running the venue and dealing with its colourful regulars. Written by Angela Clarke and directed by Christine Gernon, the show captures the humour and heart of working-class life in a traditional British institution. Despite drawing moderate audiences, Eyes Down ran for just two series before the BBC cancelled it in 2004.
