Fresh Meat follows six university students navigating their first year at Manchester Medlock University. Living in a shared off-campus house in Whalley Range after applying late for accommodation, Vod, Oregon, Josie, Kingsley, JP, and Howard—a second-year student—must balance academic pressures with the chaos of shared living. As they settle into student life away from the halls of residence, the group confronts friendship drama, romantic entanglements, and the messy realities of independence. The series captures the raw, often uncomfortable moments of early adulthood: clashing personalities, sexual awakening, and the struggle to find your place. Dark comedy and genuine pathos blend throughout as these six attempt to survive university together, discovering that living with near-strangers can be both hilarious and deeply complicated.
