AIBOU: Tokyo Detective Duo(2002)

AIBOU: Tokyo Detective Duo is a Japanese crime series following Detective Ukyo Sugishita, a principled investigator who solves cases according to his own moral code. Working within the Special Task Unit, Sugishita partners with different detectives across the seasons, each bringing distinct personalities and backgrounds to their investigations. His first partner, Kaoru Kameyama, is a well-meaning but hot-tempered detective. Later seasons introduce Takeru Kanbe, a cool and confident investigator; Toru Kai, an ambitious young detective from a prominent police family; and Wataru Kaburagi, an elite bureaucrat on temporary assignment with no police experience. As the partnerships evolve, Sugishita and his partners tackle increasingly challenging cases while navigating their contrasting approaches to detective work and justice.
