Ein starkes Team(1994)

Ein starkes Team is a German crime series following two mismatched detectives investigating organized crime in Berlin. Verena Berthold, a refined officer from West Berlin, and Otto Garber, a rough-edged cop from the East, clash constantly as they lead a special task force. Their contrasting backgrounds and personalities create friction, though tension gradually shifts toward attraction. The team rounds out with Yücsel, an agile German-Turkish detective, and Georg, a slower-moving colleague who joins in the perpetual bickering. Department head Lothar Reddemann oversees operations while Sputnik, Otto's former East German police colleague, regularly pitches business schemes for the bars and shops where the unit gathers.
