The Legend of King Arthur is a dark fantasy series set in the Dark Ages, following the wizard Merlin as he establishes a new order of enlightenment and justice by placing the young Arthur on the throne. Armed with the legendary sword Excalibur, Arthur faces opposition from nobles who resist his rule. His greatest threats come from within: his half-sister Morgan, a sorceress bent on avenging their father's death, uses dark magic to manipulate those closest to him, including the knight Lancelot and queen Guinevere.
