The World of Wodehouse(1967)

The World of Wodehouse is a British comedy series adapted from P. G. Wodehouse's Blandings Castle and Ukridge stories. Airing on BBC Television from 1967 to 1968, it followed the earlier World of Wooster series and brought Wodehouse's comic tales of aristocratic mishaps and scheming servants to the screen. The show captured the author's signature blend of witty dialogue and farcical situations set in the English countryside. Unfortunately, nearly all episodes are now lost to time, with only fragments from a single Blandings Castle episode surviving from February 1967, making The World of Wodehouse a largely vanished piece of British television comedy history.
