Tenchu: Ninja of Justice is a Japanese series that follows Sana, a ninja transported to present-day Japan, as she wages a covert war against urban crime. When Masako Murata witnesses Sana stop a knife-wielding attacker in a shopping district, she's drawn into the ninja's mysterious world. Masako takes the injured Sana home, discovering her scarred back and haunted eyes. Recognizing a kindred spirit, Sana pledges her loyalty to Masako and becomes her ally in fighting the evil plaguing modern society. Together, they navigate a contemporary landscape where ancient ninja skills clash with contemporary threats, blending action with the supernatural as Sana adapts to a world centuries removed from her own.
