Barely Famous(2015)

Barely Famous is a docu-style comedy series that deconstructs reality television from the inside. Sisters Erin and Sara claim they'd never appear on a reality show—yet they're constantly followed by cameras. As they chase careers and dates in Los Angeles, they wrestle with the contradiction of insisting they're "normal" while desperately angling for A-list status. The series skewers Hollywood stereotypes and celebrity culture through the lens of two self-aware D-listers who frequently break the fourth wall, telling the crew and network to cut when the absurdity becomes too much. Barely Famous mines comedy from the gap between what reality TV pretends to be and what it actually is, turning the medium's conventions into the joke itself.
