Taxi is a Norwegian crime thriller following Javar, a lawyer living a double life in Oslo. By day he works at a prestigious firm; by night he hides his relationship with journalist Anne from his Pakistani family. When his brother-in-law, a taxi driver, delivers a memory stick containing evidence of massive fraud within the city's taxi industry, Javar becomes the target of a deadly hunt. Powerful figures—including a corrupt tax official and ruthless cab owner Khan—will stop at nothing to silence him. As the conspiracy unravels, involving hundreds of millions in stolen money, Javar must decide who to trust while navigating the dangerous streets of Oslo. Caught between exposing the truth and staying alive, he discovers that in a world of this much corruption, a single life means very little.
