Ministério do Tempo is a Portuguese science fiction series that follows three unlikely agents recruited to protect history itself. A sixteenth-century warrior, the first female university student from the nineteenth century, and a twenty-first-century nurse are brought together by a secret government agency tasked with preventing time travelers from altering Portugal's past. Armed with access to mysterious temporal doors, the trio must stop rogue agents and ordinary citizens who attempt to rewrite historical events.
