Vyšehrad(2016)

Vyšehrad follows Julius "Lavi" Lavický, a gifted footballer whose talent is squandered by his hedonistic lifestyle. Once a prospect at Sparta, Lavi now plays for Vyšehrad, a family-run club led by a charismatic owner. Plagued by partying, alcohol, smoking, and romantic entanglements, he struggles to salvage his career. The series asks whether Lavi can find redemption at this smaller club or if his self-destructive habits will continue to derail his future. Set against the backdrop of Czech football, Vyšehrad blends sports drama with dark comedy, exploring themes of wasted potential, ambition, and the cost of excess.
