An Englishman's Castle is a British drama series set in an alternate 1978 where Nazi Germany has won World War II and occupied the United Kingdom. Peter Ingram, a successful television writer, works on a popular soap opera of the same name, set during the London Blitz. He lives a deliberately sheltered life, willfully ignoring the subtle oppression around him under Nazi rule. His comfortable existence unravels when the woman he's involved with reveals she is Jewish and an active member of the Underground resistance. The series explores how ordinary people navigate complicity, survival, and moral awakening under totalitarian occupation.
