The Price of Freedom(2011)

The Price of Freedom is a Spanish drama that follows Mario, a member of the militant separatist group ETA during Franco's brutal dictatorship. When democracy finally arrives in Spain, Mario expects the organization to disband. Instead, ETA votes to continue its campaign of violence. Faced with this moral crossroads, Mario must decide whether to stay loyal to the cause that defined him or break away and forge a new life. The series explores the personal cost of political extremism and the struggle to leave behind a violent past when the world around you has fundamentally changed.
