Doctor Simon Locke is a Canadian medical drama that follows a young physician arriving in the rural town of Dixon Mills to work alongside veteran Dr. Andrew Sellers. Despite its small-town setting, the series tackles serious urban storylines including typhoid epidemics, child abuse, and murder cases. In 1972, the show was retooled and renamed Police Surgeon, shifting focus as Dr. Locke relocates to the city to join the police department's emergency unit.
