Guardian of the Castle(2017)

Guardian of the Castle is a Croatian series set during the turbulent 1980s, when political upheaval began reshaping Europe. Boris Biscan, a veteran operative of the UDBA intelligence agency, watches his world unravel as the organization transforms from a professional institution into a criminal enterprise. The agency's new leadership exploits political emigrants, trading protection for illicit services. Caught between the old order and this corrupt new reality, Biscan finds himself increasingly isolated and obsolete. The series captures a pivotal moment in Eastern European history through the eyes of a man watching everything he knew disappear.
