Invincible Medic(1980)

Invincible Medic is a Chinese drama following Bei Zheng, an idealistic physician who runs a modest clinic in Pu Ren Lane, dedicated to healing the sick and helping those in need. Alongside his loyal assistants and his friend's son Fong Chun, Bei Zheng navigates both medical challenges and matters of the heart. While the innkeeper harbors feelings for him, Bei Zheng's affections lie with Bai Su Yi. Fong Chun, initially reluctant to study medicine, gradually discovers purpose in Bei Zheng's work and abandons his prestigious position as a royal physician to join him. Complications arise when Fong Chun falls in love with Xiao Qian, a courtesan, despite being engaged to Bai Jing Wen. Their forbidden romance ends in tragedy when Xiao Qian is killed, forcing Fong Chun to confront the consequences of his choices and the darker forces threatening their peaceful town.
