Ninja Resurrection(1998)

Ninja Resurrection is a dark anime series set in 1614 Japan, where the Tokugawa Shogunate has outlawed Christianity and hunted its believers to near extinction. Survivors cling to an ancient prophecy: a Child of Heaven will be born to save them. But the same prophecy carries a sinister twist—if the savior stumbles, he will be reborn as Satan. When a charismatic leader named Shiro Amakusa emerges to challenge the Shogun's authority, desperate Christians believe their messiah has finally arrived. Yet betrayal festers within their ranks, and the prophecy's darkest promise begins to manifest in blood and horror.
