On the Trail of Bigfoot is a six-episode documentary miniseries from filmmaker Seth Breedlove, who previously directed The Mothman of Point Pleasant and The Bray Road Beast. The series traces the complete history of the Bigfoot phenomenon across America, drawing on firsthand accounts from witnesses and paranormal investigators. Filmed coast to coast in 2018, the first three episodes—collectively titled "The Legend"—chronicle the subject from its origins to the present day, covering pivotal events like the Ape Canyon attack at Mount St. Helens and investigations at Chestnut Ridge. The remaining episodes expand the investigation further, offering an in-depth exploration of one of cryptozoology's most enduring mysteries.
