Oscar's Orchestra(1995)

Oscar's Orchestra is a British animated series that aired from 1994 to 1996 across three seasons and 39 episodes. Set in the year 2743 in New Vienna, the show follows Oscar, a sentient piano voiced by Dudley Moore, who leads a rebellion against the tyrannical dictator Thaddius Vent. Vent has outlawed music across the world, forcing Oscar and his fellow musical instruments to plot against the despot and his sinister allies: the henchmen Lucius and Tank, and the obsequious soothsayer Goodtooth. Produced by Collingwood O'Hare Entertainment in association with Warner Music Vision and Europe Images, Oscar's Orchestra originally aired on BBC's CBBC block before reaching audiences across The Children's Channel, Nickelodeon, France 2, and ABC Australia. The series blends science fiction worldbuilding with music-driven adventure, offering children a vibrant tale of resistance and creativity.
