The Red Summer(2002)

The Red Summer is a French mystery series set in the Alpine region of Savoie. When wealthy heiress Hélène de Graf is found dead in her lakeside home, her lover Thomas becomes the prime suspect and spends thirteen years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Upon release, Thomas is consumed by one goal: find the real killer.
