House Arrest(2018)

House Arrest is a Russian comedy series following Arkadiy Anikeyev, the corrupt mayor of Sineozyorsk, who is caught accepting a massive bribe and sentenced to house arrest in a cramped communal apartment. Stripped of his wealth and abandoned by his wife, Anikeyev reconnects with Ivan Samsonov, a childhood neighbor living in the same building. The two strike an unlikely deal: Anikeyev will help engineer Samsonov's rise to mayor in exchange for clearing his legal troubles.
