The Publicist(2017)

The Publicist follows Rey, a talented actor whose career is crumbling under the weight of his own scandals. Desperate to salvage his reputation, his manager and best friend Erika pursues Julia Tanjung, a renowned image consultant who initially wants nothing to do with the case. Erika's relentless persuasion forces Julia to reluctantly accept the challenge, despite warnings from her close friend Robert. As Julia works to rebuild Rey's public image, she must confront her own unresolved trauma triggered by his difficult behavior and refusal to cooperate. Caught between professional obligation and personal pain, Julia faces mounting pressure from Robert to abandon the contract. The series explores whether Julia and Rey can overcome their differences and whether Robert's intervention will derail the entire operation.
