Captain of Destiny(2015)

Captain of Destiny is a Hong Kong series that blends time-travel adventure with historical drama. Police officer Wong Tai-mui is swept into a waterspout during a motorboat chase and transported 200 years into the past, landing in 19th-century Hong Kong under Qing rule. Armed only with an e-book of future knowledge, she intervenes in a naval battle to save a family of pirates from Prince Man-ho's fleet. The prince, the Jiaqing Emperor's eleventh son, grows disillusioned with court politics and dynastic ambition. As Tai-mui's mysterious origins puzzle the pirate family, trust becomes fragile. Her presence forces unlikely alliances between past and present, where survival depends on secrets she cannot fully reveal.
