Weakest Beast(2018)

Weakest Beast is a Japanese drama series about two men who meet at a craft beer bar and discover unexpected kinship. Shinkai Akira appears flawless but is exhausted by perfectionism, while Nemoto Kousei is charming and popular yet emotionally guarded and distrustful. Both have lost touch with their authentic selves, constrained by the personas they maintain. Their chance encounter sparks a gradual closeness that allows them to be honest with each other, even when it hurts. Through conflict and vulnerability, they begin to shed their protective layers and move toward genuine self-acceptance. The series explores intimacy, trust, and the courage required to stop performing and start living authentically.
