3 Women is a historical fiction series set during Portugal's final years under the Estado Novo regime, from 1961 to 1973. The narrative follows three remarkable women whose lives intersect during this turbulent period: poet Natalia Correia, editor Snu Abecassis, and journalist Vera Lagoa (Maria Armanda Falcão's pen name). As the colonial war escalates and political tension mounts toward the April Revolution, these women navigate censorship, personal ambition, and resistance through their cultural and civic work.
