In Love With Power(2012)

In Love With Power is a historical drama set during Hong Taiji's reign as founder of the Qing dynasty. He consolidates power through strategic marriages to Mongol and Manchu noblewomen, first taking Jerger of the Khorchin as his primary wife, then marrying her niece Dayu'er to strengthen their alliance. Yet his deepest affection falls on Harjol, Dayu'er's low-status half-sister, igniting fierce jealousy among his wives. Dayu'er's resentment drives her into a dangerous secret alliance with Hong Taiji's brother Dorgon, plotting to place her own son on the throne ahead of his elder heirs.
