Groovie Goolies(1970)

Groovie Goolies is an American animated series that aired on network television from 1970 to 1972. A Filmation spinoff of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, the show followed a cast of monster characters through comedic adventures, complete with the laugh track standard to Saturday morning cartoons of that era. In 1977, Groovie Goolies entered syndication as part of The Groovie Goolies and Friends, an anthology package featuring over 104 half-hour episodes. The syndicated version included new opening credits and bumpers showing the Goolies interacting with characters from other shows in the package, while retaining each series' original closing credits. The anthology brought together seven different programs, including The New Adventures of Waldo Kitty, Lassie's Rescue Rangers, and The New Adventures of Gilligan, creating a varied lineup for afternoon viewing.
