Vencer el Miedo is a Mexican telenovela that aired on Las Estrellas from January to March 2020. The series follows Marcela Durán, a shy teenager whose life is upended by an unexpected pregnancy. As she navigates domestic violence, social stigma, and emotional abuse, the women closest to her—her mother Inés and sister Cristina—face their own deep-rooted fears and personal struggles. Through hardship and interconnected journeys, the three women learn to confront their trauma, rebuild their lives, and discover strength in solidarity and resilience. Created by Rosy Ocampo and starring Paulina Goto and Danilo Carrera, Vencer el Miedo is the first installment of the Vencer anthology series, exploring how ordinary women find hope and healing in the face of overwhelming adversity.
