Belfry Witches(1999)

Belfry Witches is a British children's television series that aired on BBC's CBBC strand from September 1999 to November 2000. The show follows two mischievous witches, Skirty Marm and Old Noshie, who flee Witch Island after being banished and take refuge in the belfry of a church in the quiet English village of Tranter's End. Their chaotic antics involve the friendly vicar, a troublemaking boy named Chris Tucker, the stern Mrs. Bagg-Meanly, and their former ruler Mrs. Abercrombie. Based on Kate Saunders' children's book series, the show blends comedy with gentle supernatural adventure. Despite its imaginative premise and loyal following, Belfry Witches was cancelled after thirteen episodes due to low ratings and has never been released on home video.
