Between is a Taiwanese drama about Su Hsiao Ching, a woman in her late twenties caught between competing demands. She juggles career ambitions, family expectations, and romantic complications—the classic "sandwich" position of modern professional life. When Luo Cheng Kai, an eccentric and controlling CEO, takes charge of her company, he gains leverage over her professional future. Simultaneously, Qu Zhih Jun, a photographer, becomes her landlord and complicates her personal world. As both men exert influence over different corners of her life, Hsiao Ching must navigate their competing interests while figuring out what she actually wants. The series explores how external pressures—from work, family, and romance—shape a woman's choices and identity.
