Bulman is a British police procedural that aired from 1985 to 1987, following the retired detective George Bulman as he pursues a second career as a private investigator while ostensibly mending clocks. Don Henderson reprises his role from the earlier series The XYY Man, joined by Lucy McGinty as his sharp assistant. Together they navigate cases that repeatedly entangle them with the secret service, whether through the scheming of security chief Bill Dugdale or encounters with Bulman's former superior Jack Lambie. Created by Murray Smith and produced by Granada Television for ITV, Bulman marked the final spin-off in the XYY Man universe, blending procedural investigation with espionage intrigue as the pair uncover conspiracies that blur the line between crime and state security.
