Deceit(2021)

Deceit is a British drama series based on the true story of a 1992 murder investigation in London. When police suspect a young man of killing a mother, they deploy an undercover female officer—codenamed Lizzie James—to seduce him and extract a confession. The operation becomes a murky exploration of power, manipulation, and institutional failure, exposing how obsession with a single suspect can corrupt an investigation.
