El Pantera(2007)

El Pantera is a Mexican television series that follows Gervasio, a young vigilante fighting crime across Mexico City. Based on a comic book character created in the 1970s, the show stars Luis Roberto Guzmán in the title role. The series premiered on Canal 5 in May 2007 and is filmed on location in Mexico City under the direction of producers Rodolfo de Anda and Alexis Ayala. El Pantera blends action and crime drama as it chronicles Gervasio's battles against the city's criminal underworld. The character's origins trace back to writer Daniel Muñoz and artist Juan Alba's comic creation for Mundo Vid, later adapted into novels including La Noche del Pantera and El Misterio de la Amenaza Negra. The series has expanded to multiple seasons and airs on both Canal 5 and cable channel Galavisión.
