Illegals(2018)

Illegals is a Polish spy thriller that follows Konrad Wolski, head of an elite intelligence unit, as he uncovers a terrorist plot targeting Sweden. The attack hinges on Soviet weapons hidden in Belarus. Konrad reaches out to Travis, a Polish operative embedded in Minsk's KGB, but discovers Travis has been exposed and is being blackmailed by Belarusian officers. Sara, an intelligence officer, is dispatched to extract him before his cover collapses entirely. The mission grows more treacherous when a retired Belarusian general begins blackmailing Poland's Prime Minister, forcing competing agendas and raising the stakes for everyone involved. Illegals balances espionage tradecraft with political intrigue across Eastern Europe, delivering tense cat-and-mouse games between intelligence agencies.
