Jolly Widows is a South Korean drama about two women who become widows on the same day. Ha Yoon Jeong supports her late husband's entire family out of guilt over his mysterious disappearance, while her sister-in-law Oh Dong Ja depends on her generosity. For years, the two have been each other's closest companions, bonded by shared loss. That changes when their children's lives collide—their daughters fall for the same man, and Yoon Jeong's husband, presumed dead, suddenly reappears as the father-in-law of Dong Ja's son. The revelation shatters their friendship and forces both women to confront buried secrets and resentments.
