Lavender(2001)

Lavender follows Ah Xun, a girl living with a heart condition that limits her physical abilities and leaves her isolated at school. Her only friend is Qing Chuan, a boy who shares her quiet world. When his family moves to America, the two make a bittersweet promise: he gives her a bottle of lavender and vows to reunite on her twentieth birthday, ten years later. As Ah Xun grows up, she carries this token of their childhood bond, wondering if Qing Chuan will keep his word. The series explores themes of friendship, longing, and the passage of time as it traces whether their connection can survive a decade apart.
