Marigold(2013)

Marigold is a Thai series following Jin, an eager but inexperienced deputy from Bangkok who arrives in a remote countryside village to maintain order. Few officers last more than a few months in this lawless posting, where rival factions led by Poo Yai's son and the cunning Dao Rueng constantly clash. Dao Rueng, a troublemaker with a penchant for confrontation, immediately tests Jin's resolve. Caught between warring groups and a community resistant to change, Jin refuses to back down. Determined to modernize the village and restore peace, he must navigate local politics, gang violence, and his own inexperience to prove himself worthy of the badge.
