Metaverse is a series about An Mei, a game artist who has spent six years in a one-sided relationship with Lu Ting, an NPC in a virtual game world. Lu Ting has become her emotional anchor—until the game's company decides to delete the character for profit. Desperate to prevent his disappearance, An Mei devises a plan to enter the game and alter Lu Ting's storyline. But when she crosses into the digital world, an unexpected accident derails everything. The series explores the blurred boundaries between virtual connection and real emotion, following An Mei as she navigates both the game's rules and her own heart in a world where the stakes suddenly feel dangerously real.
