Mind Matters(2018)

Mind Matters is a psychological drama about redemption and second chances. Five years ago, renowned psychologist Toh Jin Shu survived a tragic fall when his girlfriend, unbeknownst to him, suffered from delusional jealousy and jumped from a building. Wracked with guilt for missing her illness, Jin Shu vanished from the medical world. He resurfaces in a quiet neighbourhood working as a plumber, renting a room from landlord Qin Xiu Xiu, his past erased. As Jin Shu befriends his neighbours, he discovers they all struggle with psychological issues—including Xiu Xiu herself. Unable to ignore their pain, he begins helping them heal. When his former patient Loo Hai Ning tracks him down, his carefully constructed new life unravels, forcing Jin Shu to confront both his past and his purpose.
