O.T.T.(1982)

O.T.T. is a late-night adult spin-off of the anarchic children's show Tiswas, created and presented by Chris Tarrant. Broadcast by Central Independent Television at 11pm on Saturday nights in 1982, the series reunites Tiswas alumni John Gorman, Lenny Henry and Bob Carolgees for irreverent comedy sketches and anarchic humour aimed at grown-up audiences. Helen Atkinson-Wood joins as female sidekick, replacing Sally James who continued presenting the final series of the original Tiswas. Running for a single series, O.T.T. captures the chaotic energy of its predecessor while pushing boundaries with adult-oriented material and late-night scheduling.
