Pulling Moves(2004)

Pulling Moves is a Northern Irish comedy series set in West Belfast that follows four friends—Wardrobe, Ta, Shay and Darragh—as they scheme their way through life. Wardrobe leads the group with fierce devotion to his mother, while Ta struggles to balance his wife Una's demands for stability with his loyalty to his mates. Darragh chases redemption with his ex-wife to maintain contact with his son, and young Shay repeatedly lands himself in trouble despite his mother's hopes he'll find steady work. Each episode sees the crew cooking up increasingly absurd money-making plots, from rigging pigeon races to breeding dogs, always with chaotic results. A colorful cast of locals—including the morally flexible Hoker, perpetually drunk Crazy Horse, and Tiny Tim who runs a pet salon—rounds out their world. The series captures the humor and heart of working-class Belfast life, where friendship and family loyalty matter more than getting ahead.
