Sgt. Frog is an anime series about a platoon of alien frogs dispatched to Earth with orders to conquer the planet. Instead of executing their invasion, the amphibious soldiers end up living with an ordinary Japanese family—and chaos ensues. The frogs bungle their takeover schemes while juggling everyday domestic life, creating constant friction between their military ambitions and their reluctant hosts. Blending comedy with absurdist humor, the show mines laughs from the clash between extraterrestrial invaders and suburban normalcy.
