Tamashii: Insert is an adult anime series following Naoto, a young man whose life shifts when his mother dies and his father remarries, bringing his new stepmother Sachiko and stepsister Yui into his home. Naoto grows concerned about Yui's emotional distance from him. One day, he discovers a mysterious app designed to help users understand another person. When he uses it on Yui, something unexpected happens—he finds himself inhabiting her body.
