Uke

Uke is a series that explores confrontation and reckoning. The narrative follows someone who has carried deep wounds inflicted by others—people whose cruelty, violence, and hypocrisy left lasting scars. Despite attempts at forgiveness, the protagonist cannot move past what was done to them. The series builds toward a pivotal moment: a face-to-face encounter with those responsible. Some of the perpetrators may believe themselves good people, unaware of the trauma they've caused. Others know exactly what they've done. When the confrontation finally arrives, the power dynamic shifts. Uke examines themes of accountability, survival, and the complex emotions that surface when victims and their abusers meet again.
