Under the Power(2019)

Under the Power is a Chinese historical drama set during the Ming Dynasty's final years under the Jiajing Emperor. When government funds earmarked for river repairs in Yangzhou vanish, Lu Yi of the Jing Yi Wei is tasked with investigating the theft. He's paired with Yuan Jin Xia, a talented female constable from the Liushanmen, despite their previous clash over a case. The two initially clash due to their clashing temperaments but gradually learn to work together as the investigation deepens. As they uncover layers of conspiracy, their professional partnership transforms into romance.
