Victorinos(2009)

Victorinos is a Spanish-language telenovela that aired on Telemundo from June 2009 to February 2010. The series is a remake of the 1991 Colombian drama Cuando Quiero Llorar No Lloro, itself adapted from Miguel Otero Silva's 1970 novel. The story follows multiple characters named Victorino as they navigate love, hardship, and redemption across the show's 26-week run. Director Ramiro Meneses, who starred in the original 1991 version, helmed this Telemundo adaptation. The show aired weeknights with English subtitles available via closed captions. In an ironic twist, Victorinos was eventually replaced by the very series it had displaced when it premiered. Telemundo later re-aired the telenovela in late-night slots.
