Darna: The Return is a Filipino superhero film where the titular hero faces her greatest challenge yet. Valentina, a snake-haired villain, plots to control the Philippines by embedding subliminal messages in religious television broadcasts. Meanwhile, Darna has lost her magical pearl—the source of her superhuman powers—leaving her trapped in her human form as reporter Narda. Without her transformation abilities, Narda must navigate the ordinary world while racing to recover the pearl and stop Valentina's sinister scheme. The film blends action and comedy as the resourceful journalist works to become the hero the country desperately needs.
