Mass Appeal is a drama about generational conflict within the Catholic Church. A idealistic young seminarian arrives at a parish led by a worldly, pragmatic older pastor who has built his ministry on compromise and political savvy. The newcomer's earnest faith and desire for authentic spiritual leadership clash with the pastor's cynical, expedient approach to running the church. As tensions escalate, both men are forced to confront their deepest convictions about faith, duty, and the cost of integrity. The film explores whether idealism can survive institutional pressure, and whether experience and principle can ever truly coexist. Caught between tradition and reform, the two priests navigate a battle of wills that challenges everything they believe about their calling.
