Cop Land is a crime drama following Freddy Heflin, the deaf sheriff of a small New Jersey town populated by New York City police officers. When Heflin uncovers a sprawling conspiracy of corruption and murder among the cops he's long admired, he faces an impossible choice: protect his idols or enforce the law. The film explores the moral cost of loyalty as Heflin navigates a web of deceit that threatens to destroy everything he believes in. Directed by James Mangold and featuring an ensemble cast including Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro, and Harvey Keitel, Cop Land is a tense examination of institutional corruption and personal integrity set against the backdrop of 1990s New Jersey.
